New Music On The Point encourages imaginative collaboration among composers, instrumentalists, and vocalists creating 21st century chamber music in a glorious setting on the shores of Lake Dunmore in Vermont.  Our two-week program fosters contemporary chamber music in a relaxing environment where aspiring musicians may explore and grow.

In June 2012, our second season features distinguished composers-in-residence Kathryn Alexander (Yale University) and Laura Schwendinger (University of Wisconsin-Madison), the electrifying JACK Quartet, our ensemble-in-residence (New York City), the mesmerizing mezzo-soprano Jennifer Beattie (Philadelphia), and Donna Loewy (Cincinnati-Conservatory of Music), our dynamic pianist-in-residence and vocal coach.

All participants engage in program activities that include private and/or master class instruction, open rehearsals, seminars, workshops and Salon Night entertainment. Every day our interactive schedule allows time for composing, practicing, and rehearsing.
